just like dual sim phones i've always loved the dual or multiple functionality of tools, equipment and spaces because I live in a fast paced world with limited resources squeezing in multiple properties into a single object at half the cost of the multiple properties in individual objects is a win-win for everyone.
so i couldn't wait to try this out when my parents asked commissioned me to make us a coffee table for our cozy TV room, I knew space was limited but we needed a table to place the remote controls, books, magazines and our feet without obstructing the tv sensors or ourselves.
After some sketches I called my carpenter and debriefed him laying so much emphasis on the suction cups that would hold the glass top to the wood legs.
voila! we made our dual function coffee table with a glass top, I
chose to use a glass top with its transparent property to give the
illusion of a smaller table because all you see are the wood legs and
the wood legs are actually bookshelves used now to store novels, left
over snacks and Gabby's toys.

absolutely enjoyed designing this table and i couldn't help seeing all
the dual purposes other furniture at home could possess like some examples I found below
